Curiosity & Fahrenheit 451 | Self Improvement

The story of Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian commentary on a world that discourages and reprimands all reading and intellectual expansion.

This discussion will be centered on the attribute of curiosity both in the character of this novel, and our own lives. From this story and discussion, we will learn to apply the principle of curiosity and other related themes to our journey of self-development. Reading is suggested, but not mandatory. Main ideas of plot will be summarized in the discussion.

Questions to be discussed in breakout groups:

1) When was the moment in your life where you realized the importance of learning and acquiring knowledge?

2) What are some ways you would acquire and maintain the habit and love of learning?

3) What, in your opinion, is the best way to learn? (Observation, teaching, discussing, study, implementing / reflecting, etc)
